For our pioneer film project, Makemation is Africa’s first feature film on the genius and fast rising profile of its present-day generation within the global tech innovation space. It is a 4-quadrant family tale features a blend of high tension, enjoyable set-pieces, and a universal theme that emphasizes self-love, irrespective of one’s background or the world’s judgmental standards.

Our highly anticipated film project benefitted immensely from the auditions, screen and chemistry test for the junior cast. With a talented pool of young performers vying for roles, the journey to finding the perfect young actors was an exhilarating and inspiring experience.

We embarked on an intensive closed audition process to assess exceptional young talents who could bring the Characters in the Film Script to life. The responses from aspiring junior actors was amazing and we still remain immensely grateful for the passion and dedication they brought to their auditions.

Three highly rated Industry Leaders, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Bimbo Akintola and James Omokwe alongside the Film Director and Line Producer formed our Jury for our closed audition and they were meticulous, intentional and thorough, with each candidate showcasing their acting skills, range, inflection and ability to embody the essence of the characters. We were astounded by the talent and professionalism exhibited by these young performers, making our selection process a tough but exciting.

Throughout the auditions, it became evident that we were witnessing the emergence of incredible young actors with immense potential within the Nigerian Film Industry. As a Production team, we understand the importance of nurturing and supporting these Rising Stars and we believe in providing a safe and inclusive environment that allows them to thrive and grow as performers by offering guidance, mentorship, and professional training, we aim to empower our junior cast members and help them develop their skills further. We believe that investing in young talent is crucial for the future of the entertainment industry and this explains why we are committed to providing them with the platforms and opportunities they need to succeed.

With Auditions and Screen Tests concluded, the next phase of our film project, Makemation began. With our talented and dedicated Cast and crew selected very intentionally, rehearsals, coaching of the actors costume design and fittings, set constructions and further character development began. Each actor brings a unique flair to their role, and we were thrilled to see their collective chemistry come alive on the screen.

As we move forward, we will continue to collaborate closely with our Technical team, including the experienced director, cinematographer and other crew members until the film’s vision is meticulously brought to life, ensuring that every aspect aligns seamlessly to create a compelling and unforgettable cinematic and streaming experience.
